Hope everyone had a great weekend

We had a test run up in Filey , Flamborough & Scarborough for the Friday & Saturday Cruise 





We got five Buggies on the starting grid ( it is an open road )



20+ Buggies we will need to plan a rolling grid when the track is empty ( Clear Road ) 

We did a few laps arround the circuit at a steady pace for videos , there are Motorbikes at the circuit too doing the same and a few Cyclists to beware of too training .

9.00am Breakfast (Optional ) at Filey Brigg Cafe ( Stuart Pitchforth's cafe ) MAYERS MANX 

10.30pm Cruise From Filey Brigg Country Park  YO14 9ET to Scarborough Sea Front Royal Albert Drive YO12 7TY ( Buggy lin eup Photos on the Causeway ) to  Mount Race Circuit 2.30pm Olivers on the Mount Cafe YO11 2UG  – Afternoon Lunch booked   



5.00pm Scenic Route  Cruise back to Filey Brigg Country Park YO14 9ET   



Sunday 1st September 


Afternoon Cruise 12pm Bridlington

Unfortunately air cooled is dying the youngsters do not want older cars most VW shows are now T4  and onwards vans and shows are stopping due to insurance and lack of support.

Yeh its a shame but inevitable I guess as a classic to them is something very different.  Interestingly there were more Air Cooled at Tatton this year than there have been in the last 4 years.  Julianne (the organiser) was really pleased at the Air Cooled turn out but she also told me that they are having to really adapt to the wider VAG cars such as Skoda.

Olivers mount starting grid for the buggy race to the cafe on the circuit and one from Flamborough light house

if you want to go to a show with 99% percent  aircooled cars and  endless  buggies nothing can beat the spa frankenchamps show    the next best thing is  skeg vegas  plenty of aircooled but    sadly nothing like the bug in   show   at spa  theres   plenty of nos parts and    vw parts never seen at a  british show
