I have been offered a place but no details yet and i want to know if there is camping before i commit.

Hi Mick we accepted saturday and have heard nothing back yet. I want to take caravan down I assume the £80 is all weekend for camping they must have loads of space with the number of exhibitors, traders and alike there.

Provisional Race Schedule (Subject to Change)
The Goodwood Revival is a weekend packed with action. It takes place over three days – Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September – with Wednesday and Thursday acting as non-public set-up days.

First of two races for saloon cars of a type that raced in the 1960s

Race 6: Madgwick Cup (25 mins)
For sports racing cars from 1955-1960

Race 7: Whitsun Trophy (25 mins)
For sports-racing prototypes of a type that raced between 1960 and 1966

Race 8: Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy (45 mins, two-driver)

Prize Giving
A prize giving ceremony will take place at the startline, following the last race on Sunday, at which all competitors and guests are most welcome. Veuve Clicquot champagne will be served.

Entry Forms
To enter your vehicle and driver/rider we ask you to complete the relevant entry forms. Anyone entering a vehicle should complete a 'Owner/Entrant Entry Form'. Anyone driving/riding (excluding Parades, Aircraft and Settrington Cup) will need to complete a Driver/Rider Entry Form. Please note, if you have any additional drivers/riders, they will receive a Driver/Rider Entry Form when completing the relevant information on your Vehicle Entry From.

The Pre-1966 Theme
The period theme
The Revival is the only event of its kind to offer a true 'step-back-in-time' experience. However, to create this unique atmosphere we very much rely on the full co-operation of those taking part. Your invitation is therefore made in the expectation that you and your team will enter into the spirit of the occasion. Not only do we require cars and motorcycles to be beautifully presented to the correct period specifications (at least in so far as proper safety considerations will allow), but we also ask you and your team to dress appropriately, too. Our aim at the Revival is to create a truly authentic period motor racing experience and to that end nothing on site should give the game away. All competitors, guests and support crew are expected to adhere at all times to the Revival dress code. Broadly, Goodwood asks that period or traditional clothing be worn throughout the weekend, representing the styles of the 1940s, '50s and '60s.

Please note that, while in the paddock, all gentlemen not wearing mechanics' attire are required to wear a jacket and tie.

The post-1966 curfew
From 07:00hrs-19:00hrs, Friday-Sunday, no out-of-period (post-1966) items can be used or displayed within the perimeter fence of the motor circuit. This includes tools, equipment and all support vehicles, from race transporters to paddock bikes.

Event Transport
Goodwood provides the following transport services throughout the weekend, using a fleet of volunteer period vehicles.

Good morning all

I just wondered if anyone has had a response from Goodwood to say "thanks, but no thanks"? We emailed them a few months ago with photos and write up etc. and received the catch all reply to say it has been received but nothing since. A chase up email a few weeks ago just to check the status of things but no reply.

It would be great to be invited along but obviously completely understandable that they only want certain vehicles/number of vehicles.

are we all planning on camping in the same area ? we have Electric so none electric campers can charge phones etc at our Motorhome

Just want to say a big thank you to Micky and Hugh for sorting out tickets and passes for Sue and i over the weekend, and to Matt and Sian for saving us from putting up a tent in a very muddy Campsite and also to the buggy community in making what could have been a disappointing weekend, as I'd been rejected, into a great weekend, cheers
