I have for sale here a fine example of of a swing axle complete as you can see ... all joking aside , this came with my rail , who I bought of my friend , to which he said ran fine until mothballed ...

It rolls fine , gear select works fine , but as you can see is in need of a tidy up .

I offer no guarantee on it for obvious reasons as I have not been able to drive it properly .... 

The wheels do NOT come with it as I have only left them on to make it easier to move around . It has a 3 bolt nose cone on it .

It is collection only from South Somerset , a mile from Crewkerne .

The rules state I need to put an approx price , I don't know what's it worth as the net seems to vary drastically on price , so I'm going to say £200 , but make me an offer ... I won't be offended ....





I also have another swing axle gear box completely stripped down as I intended to do a rebuild before I decided to go IRS ... so it's completely stripped , with care , all parts were cleaned and coated with WD40 and rapped in clingfilm and also have the drive shafts / tubes etc .... Again I don't know what it is worth , so I'll say £100 , and again if the mods don't object , make me an offer , I won't be offended ...

Both boxes are AB codes I think , so nothing special ....


Any questions please do ask , but bear in mind I'm new to the whole VW scene so I can only answer what I can see if that makes sense ....

No objections to ever advertising that you are open to deals or offers - All we ask is a very rough ball park starting price, which you did

Thanks Dave , I just honestly don't know the market worth of some of this stuff , and just trying to give them a decent new home without mugging myself off too much , nor storing them for years to spend half my life tripping over them .

If someone thinks it worth less by all mean say , I don't mind as to be fair they are redundant to me now , so will only collect dust otherwise ...
