I've always wanted to change my buggy rear lights to mk1 Cortina lights. Love the shape and I owned a couple of mk1s so it's kind of nostalgic. Long shot I know but does anyone have a set they'd be willing to sell?

Thank you, yes I've seen that lot. Pricey and a bit ropey?

after selling the yellow GP to Andy I sold all the spare lenses and damaged chrome rims along with one light to a trader at a car show, keep looking Mark they appear occasionally for sensible money but with the value of mk1 cars now owner will pay silly money for them when restoring a car.

Bugger, should've posted this sooner. I need a time machine to pop back to a few breakers' yards.

The trims are just a thin pressings so can be straightened if not badly damaged. Best get on Ford owners web sites/forums you could ask on retro rides site.

Don't forget you can widen the search, they fitted loads to the likes of TVRs and ice cream vans etc in the 60s.

BMW 1602 and 2002s (?) and some Opel's had really good looking lights too.

Mustang lights would work and there are plenty of reasonably priced reproduction ones available from the US.

Thank you for all the replies and suggestions. Yes it's the look I'm going for, especially as it's a nod to my past and the Mk1s I owned. I'm in no rush so I'll keep looking.
