Oh it's that big pub at the top of the bank heading towards Stratford. Looks like it's aiming for posh clientele (The Bentley and Goodwood brigade) and have quite a pricey menu but I think we should try it for a special occasion.

Who knows Dave on this site...if it's not hackers then its comedians, jokers or people from the 'good old days'.

Mind you whilst there are an abundant number of well informed friendly mechanics on here I'd confidently say the fashion sense is statisically below average - it seems to run hand in hand with buggy ownership - or may be I'm confusing the deliberate fancy dress ?

Paul I can't picture you but I rather fear that the combination of being a buggy owning, well informed mechanic from 'the good old days' means the T shirt you desire is not going to be an Instagramable success.

food is not cheap but nice so we need a buggy outing they are happy yo take bookings if we can sort the weather out.

I can't make it but looking forward to hearing about the venue and seeing some MBC buggys and pennants in action.

A good turn out 15 buggies including Martin and Paul both newbies to the MBC meets,  Stu who has not been for a while and Dipsey Deb meeting the crew after having her buggy engine sorted.
Thanks to Vikki and the staff at the venue for the freebie sample bottles of Power Maxed car care products to distribute.
The 10.30 ride home in shorts and tee shirts was a bonus for September.

Great block of buggys. I thought there would be other expensive fancy cars at a venue like this on a Friday night or perhaps they have been cropped out.

Buggies stole the show Hugh they liked our line up, there was other tasty cars there but hey ho buggies ruled I even got a box of Power Maxed car care products given to me to hand out to drivers the spare bottles were just randomly distributed in buggies parked there to use them up.

I half suspected this Snoopy but then wondered if smart proper cars only go out on a Saturday !

The cleaning products would be somewhat wasted on me but all the buggys shown clearly have attentive owners, deserving of cleaning rewards.

If 15 buggys can turn up the first time I am sure we can muster 25/30 if the proprietors ever want to invite us to enhance an occasion - and then hand out some more gifts to us.

Firstly my buggy has now been snooped and is running fab.
It was great meeting at the piston club but unfortunately didn't get to say hello to everyone.
The journey back to the campsite was fun with my candle lights on the front which made me turn into a lay by instead of the turn off I wanted.
The next day there was a Lamborghini and a Ferrari there but people were taking pics of my buggy (which is far from a show one) and a Sylva. 😂😂
