I have accepted the offer of a stand for the buggies and we have a 9m X 6M pitch smaller than we wanted but hey ho room for 5 buggies.
It is further in on the inner corner of Dream Rides this year so further way from the open doors hall 5 number 372,

buggies will have to be sited around noon Thursday and are sited until 5.30 pm on the Sunday cost is £20 a buggy for which you get 2 day passes and a parking permit if things stay the same.

Interested in displaying a buggy list below please,

snoopy with the Jas,

Just a general query please...... Are there any buggy/kit car/classic car venues that do not fall on bank holiday weekends?

Hi Paul the NEC is a one off buggy display at a major national show volksworld show was the National VW static show. All other events are just weekend VW/buggy events
I have tried to book the NEC classic show in November but have not been successful in getting a stand.

Quite a few are held on "non" bank holiday weekends, and keep an eye on the calendar as we also have quite a few now that are arranged over a weekend just for us lot to socialise / cruse / camp without it being a car show. Ashbourne weekend is a good example of that one

Right the info has arrived, the usual stuff for exhibitors.
High viz jacket and decent shoes for build up.
Oil drip tray for engine, minimum fuel and battery disconnected on stand. No club supplied lighting on the stand or car lights allowed.
If blacking tyres the floor must be covered before starting also no silicon based spray is allowed in theNEC.

We have a 9am to 10am delivery slot in their plans but will question this as there has to be flexibility.

Meeting place will be the usual pub for folks who want a coffee or breakfast the Toby Carvery Marston Green CV7 7HL

Tons more to reading andrules wade through so will up date as and when

They want us to arrive between 9 and 10am so Carvery leaving time 11.15

You need high Viz and a oil catch tray also a low fuel level for set up and for the show a chair is useful I will take a table.
A bit of info on the buggy or build photo album is useful.

Keith,

I think we need to rethink the leaving times

From feedback of a few other clubs that decided to arrive late and "pick their own time" they were met with absolute hostility from the jobsworths on the gates that made them wait in the car park for a few hours (probably out of principle) before being allowed in.

Given the number of attendees of this show, I think we ought to play by their rules and adhere to the time slots given maybe   :-\
