Vanessa thank you for the deluge of images giving a great feeling for the 'business' and assorted goings on over the long weekend. I add some below but lack your eye for incident. Doug and Grace's wedding was a very special event on Friday morning in Boston Registry Office with them generously paying for the buffet and entertainment (Abba tribute) on Saturday night. The theme of happy unions, meetings, good times and variety of buggys + personalities was set off by the excellent weather.

Doug and Grace's friends and relatives added welcome new blood and conversation to this already wonderful gathering. The wedding layered and merged into but added too the bouyant friendly mood. Legendary King Simon and Majestic Queen Jo of Wrangle aided by their grounded, spirited and utterly delightful children were fantastic hosts.

It can seem unfair to mention any aspects for risk of appearing to not value others but what perhaps isn't clear from the images is the wonderful quality of the 3 different live entertainments - one would have been enough to highlight a weekend but they do things excessively in the Ward Kingdom of Wrangle. Also the raffle organised by the usual suspects and contributed to by so so many, was beyond generous in it's range and contents adding a bit of fun and raising worthy money for the school who otherwse perhaps won't know their playing field was a roitous campsite littered with buggys for several days. Denise's branded Tote bags etc, Vicky's snack sized personalised buggy biscuits and everyone's willingness to put their hands in their pocket or tool box (Snoopy, Dave Mayer, Richard Brookes....) all kept the proverbial and real wheels turning.

DC used his toothbrush to ensure he won the Show & Shine which was clearly well deserved and he received a superbly crafted trophy made by Merscury.

So pictures give hints and reminders of the stories, scenery and vibe.... I only hope Doug, Grace and the Ward family can finacially recover in time for Christmas.

Jo and I would like to thank again, everyone who attended our Buggy Weekend a good time enjoyed by all whilst raising funds for the Primary School.
We have counted up a number of times to confirm the amount raised was £1565 which is an absolutely amazing amount of money. Thank you everyone that provided help by which ever method you did be it sponsor ship or raffle prizes to Vickys amazing cookies, thank-you Vanessa,Gail and Allan for selling the tickets with banter and fun .. Gail for the ribbons for Doug and Grace wedding themed Saturday Cruise and Keith for getting an additional 2 buggies up and running to enjoy the ride out .. the weekend happened because everybody did their "bit" thank you all so much.
Yorkshire next year but

The Wards of Wrangle

£1565 is great chunk of money and as Simon says everyone doing their bit made it all work.

I saw that the school is a 'Mini Police School'. Mini's are fine but perhaps a bit of re-branding to a 'Buggy Police School' or  simply a 'Beach Buggy School' and have a Beach Buggy poster in the staff room ?

Maybe next time get the kids to visit, start them young
