Doable except the raceway although I could ask. Boring roads though and no chance of staying together in Bakewell or Buxton. A fallback if I don't find the time to check the lanes out

The race way was only spotted on google earth it looks like a banger racing track so best avoided. Was just looking for things in the area for photo opportunities.

Buxton have a speedway team, so possibly their place you've seen.

Tried the route I was thinking of and a combination of impracticable narrow roads with no passing places and a stretch where they are finally filling the potholes and have closed it has forced a last minute rethink.

Good news is we can get to the pub just about 12 so long as we are on our way about 10.45. waiting to hear back from them about getting a corner of the carpark reserved, but it's a pretty big carpark for a small village

Will go out again tomorrow and join up the bits we can do and a new bit.

I need a volunteer navigator for Saturday as Lynn can't make it, just need to be able to read and know left from right
