The little lever that goes on the end of the accelerator shaft that connects to the accelerator cable. Does anyone have a spare one. Thanks Rich.

Hi Rich have you been having my trouble, put something down and when you go to pick it up you cannot find it, thinking the shed must be haunted still you are ok now most things reappear in a day or two after fitting something else..

Keith / Rich  As an amateur mechanic of more than 55 years I can assure you that parts and tools all have the ability to teleport from one place to another. Spanners are adept at moving from the instant you put them on the floor. I spend so much time looking for a part that has been in the same place for years but as soon as I need it, .. it is nowhere to be found. Go away and leave things. Come back in a day or a week and there it appears....  Or buy a replacement and before the replacement arrives the original turns up.  Amazing there has been no officially named process for this created along the way   

The worst thing is when you drop a nut, bolt or washer when in the middle of a job. You know the score, if you don't watch where it goes, you'll never find it, so you watch it like a hawk.  It rolls to the middle of a clear patch on the workshop floor.  It's sooooo obvious where it is that you spend a minute finishing the job, reach to pick it up, and there it isn't. Gone, never to be seen again (until it reappears in exactly the same place, just after you've fitted a replacement).

Nope, the worst thing is letting your missus anywhere near the garage

I allow 20% of the build time to looking for things I know are there, used to be 10% but I got older.

Well it is good to know I am not alone in this

I should never tidy up. It was there before and now I can't find it. Drat drat and double drat or words to that effect.
