I didn`t specify which weekend . . .   ::)

I`m really hoping to get over to this one under my own steam, but Buggy is handling so badly at the moment, I may end up towing it there and driving the short distance from the campsite to the beach. Front end is almost done, but has shown up just how bad the rear is and the combination of soft front and solid rear is causing it to bounce down the road - really unpleasant to drive

That sounds like a real head scratcher! Is this after fitting a new front end?
Hope you get it sorted.
I'm heading over after work on the Friday if you wanna hold hands!?

Not long back from a fabulous weekend at Branscombe and Beer.
Definitely will be one oc thd first on my calendar for next year.
Nigel and Fiona and crew organised a brilliant weekend.
The campsite at Branscombd was very welcoming and lovely facilities plus added bonus it was a local airfield too. This meant we got a lovely group shot with a biplane that just landed.
Wd travelled down Friday, nicd welcome getogether on Beach Head car park with a bag of goodies each of Nigel including a free pastie voucher for a shop in town, a ticket for the complimentary BBQ on the beach for Saturday and a bottle of Beer Water.
Back to the campsite to find a crazy pizza van waiting for us that was a frsnkenstein of a lancruiser, an old shed and a Morris minor.
Beautiful pizzas though but he had to leave before it got dark as his lights didn't work.
Up on Saturday and cruise down into Beer with the campsite crew where we had special permission to park in an area on the cliff overlooking the beach. A few other buggies there too for the day..
Down to beach for a cuppa from thd cafe, walk up into the village to grab our Fred pasty, a stop off at the Barrel of Beer, in Beer for a beer.
Caught up with some old work pals and old band members who now all live that way, a couple of hours of just relaxing on the beach with more tea, some more time chatting to holiday makers and villagers alike then all back down to thde beach to fof ghd complimentary bbq that Nigel and his crew has laid on. Amazing.
We were welcomed with open arms and it would be an absolute pleasure to return next year.
Back to camp for beers and talking rubbish before bed.
Nigel organised a fantastic scenic cruise on Sunday morning (as Stephen buggybaggy has let me know) although I needed to get back home so unfortunately couldn't take part.
Just want the doctor ordered and watch this space for a bigger and better Buggies in Beer event next year (or so Nigel was hinting) as the airfield has a big barn to host bands. :-X

Great report Chad. Clearly a lovely spot with fantastic thoughtful and generous hosts. Although I have a mental problem trying to imagine a bottle of 'beer water' !

Hope to see some images anon.
