We're trying to pick a colour from the FF range of metalflake colours. Do you guys have any pictures of buggies in non holographic, orange and premium golden orange?
I'd really like to see them on a car rather than a small swatch
Thanks in advance

Golden orange

"Ah, Beach Buggies, sure, just a quick cheap way of getting a few more years out of a rusty Beetle. You can throw one together in a weekend." anon.

But of course, chartreuse is THE best colour...

I'm normally the person that tells the customer thay colour choice is a personal thing and that only they can choose it (I run a body/paintshop), but this is just a pain in the butt, I've never liked choosing a colour from a swatch as they can change so differently in day/ sunlight, especially flakes. ;D

Jaysons dad, Is that Metalflake orange? It's hard to see the flake in that picture. Sure looks like everyone's enjoying the ride  8)

Yep, I pulled the trigger and ordered an orange 'flake Sidewinder with Gordon at FF Buggies. I've also provisionally ordered a hardtop, which would be off white/cream to match the wheels. I say provisionally as the screen that I have is 14.5 inches tall, which is shorter than most, plus it doesn't have the groove at the top to fit the hardtop into. It would mean having to buy another screen, BUT, I want to fit EC 43R spec glass, which the new screens supplied don't come with. So that would be an additional cost to the screen itself.

So, I'm going to see if I can fit a hardtop to my screen, and secure it properly. On my Cobra LeMans hardtop I've used over centre fasteners, as they work a treat, so I might fabricate something simple to accommodate those. If I go this route, I'll also have to trim some fibreglass from the rear sail panels to get the angles correct.

If anyone has a bare screen frame for sale please let me know
Thanks
