Hi all.Anyone had a problem with crankshaft pulley bolt coming loose and dropping out.Its happened to my mate twice now. Both times it got put back and torqued correctly.Avnt put locktite on the thread yet so that's next step.Never heard of this happening before.

I ha an isdue with mine slackening off. That was down to me putting the washer on the wrong way around (it's not flat.)
Off the top of my head i can't remember which way it should go!

Empi bolts are junk so are a lots of pulleys .. Someone may have air guned the nut up in the past and pulled! the thread!! . I had a lose flywheel that hammered the front pulley lose..may be an Over size thread!! But more times and not it is the cheap bolt and washer ..buy a good nut and Loctite and ft it up works for me..
Do not be offended by my spelling mistakes! Why asking tech? questions" As so far I have not asked Any,, Everyone fort it was in possible apart from the One who invented it..

Cheers Ida thanks for that advice.Weve got an original pulley bolt and washer so maybe ditch the Empi pulley.
