Good Morning All

Can anybody point me in the right direction for a company that makes custom made hoods/wet weather gear for a SWB?

This is just in case the buggy I purchase doesn't come with a hood/wet weather gear?

Thanks ahead of time.

Dave

Agree with this and despite the mega-distance I will be calling in person should the day come when I have finished my buggy   ;D

Hi

I used Chris at Custom Coach Trimmers who is based in Evesham, http://www.customcoachtrimming.co.uk or tel 01386-834454.

Chis made my bespoke mohair soft top, plus a bikini top, both were an amazing job, would recommend him for any trim work required.

All the best.

Peter

Tried for 4-5 years to find somewhere up our way. Latest is a sail maker in Ambleside.
Paul 1953 how do you intend to travel to the deepest south. Trailer the buggy or drive? With confidence we could travel in tandem ?
Best,
Paul

Hi Peter

This sounds perfect for me did they make your hood to fit on to press studs, Turn Buckle or some other type?

Paul.... planning to drive but there is an option with these guys that brings the price down. That is to leave your buggy with them and allow them to work on the top "in between their other work".  Practically you would need to leave your buggy there for the duration of the work.

Dave lives "just along the road, I believe, so maybe he would be willing to rent out his home for the duration   ;D ;D

But yes, leave the Buggy with them as a "Hospital job" which means they can spend time on it in between other jobs - either way it won`t be there too long as they don`t have the space to keep things there too long.
