Hi all.  New to the group.
Just picked up my first beach buggy/ project.

From a bit of research and facebooking. Etc etc.  It looks to be a Kyote 2 body.

Bought on a bit of a wim. As alsoway wanted a buggy. But could never afford one or find one suitable.

Got offered this at a great price. So just thought I would dive in. Needs a bit of work. Hopefully be on the road for summer next year.

Will aim to get pics up. And build thread up as soon as I can.

Cheers all.

I think it was only the Kyote 1 which had doors.

Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of buggys.

Original 1970s Koyote 2s had opening side doors and rear tailgate, no opening bonnet. Had optional pickup roof or station wagon hardtop.

1980s onward reissues had an opening bonnet but no opening doors. No hardtops.

All Koyote 2s were long wheelbase, Koyote 1s were short wheelbase, no doors but weren't made in the UK, one was imported but seems to have vanished.

Mantaray II Koyotes had a very similar front to a British Mk2 Mantaray but the rear was very different, again, never sold in the UK.
