A-Plan Thatcham. - They have a whole sponsored thread on here (AKA Cherished something or other). ahh here you go  http://www.beachbuggy.info/index.php/topic,10205.0.html
I used them for my VW sandrail, but then you get spoilt because, when you ring.... they pick up the phone! Yes really, none of this  1 for music, 2 for someone you can barely understand 3 to wait for 15 mins then get cut off.. A real human that has the ability to help you. Sometimes you have to twist their arm a bit for the best price, but that ease of dealing with them is worth every penny.  I started with the Sandrail, now they have both my daily's and even the house insurance.
So that's a  ;-)up from me

A-Plan / Cherished Vehicle are certainly the ones to speak with, but make sure to ring the Thatcham branch as they are the ones geared up to help us. In all my years, I have never known an Insurance company to go the extra mile like they do, and they are often seen at the shows as well, where they will also give a genuinely warm and friendly welcome.

But I do urge a serious note of caution, be careful of the one called Carlie as she has now completely filled the boots of our old friend Claire, which means that when you meet her at the shows (and you will) do not take your eye off her for a minute, as I fear like her predecessor, she will eat your cake, drink your beer and probably take your car for a spin when you are not looking

Great service, lovely people, great prices and thoroughly honest
