Crank pulley retaining bolt washer....

The cranl pulley retaining bolt washer is not flat, or at least it's not on mine. Which way round should it go? Bolt into the dished/concaved side, or should it sit on the domed/convexed side? (Always had it sit in the concaved side but want to check if that's corrrct.)

I've always fitted them the other way, bolt to the domed/convex side, I've no idea why, I just always have. I haven't had one fall off yet!

I just recon the pressure is concentrated closer to the thread that way round if that makes sense.
