Testing the water...

Possibly for sale 1964 Beach Buggy chassis

Correctly registered as a 1964 Beach Buggy on logbook. It will avoid modern testing and will be tax and MOT exempt when finished.

I purchased this last year and intended to build a new Manx. The details of the work carried out so far are here

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=698221

The chassis is all original German VW steel and is currently mid-restoration. I planned to build a standard Manx but chassis length this can be changed to suit a different body style. All welding will be completed by a professional.

Chassis is bare other than shortened shift rod, new fuel line and rear spring plates.

£2000
£2200 with a set of my fully rebuilt pedals

If the chassis sells I will probably also be selling my stainless sidewinder exhaust made by Mike at Vintage Volkshaus, as well as a complete 64 steering column and wheel, new stainless headlights, Flatlands Manx badges and a few other parts.

Please message me if you are interested.
