Hi all.
My front brakes (drums) are unbalanced. Found right front cylinder was leaking, so just replaced it and bled the brakes, but same thing still happening. Front right is locking up, front left much less pressure. Front brakes are fed separately from the master cylinder and rears are fed by one output, t'ed off and split. Thinking now it may be the master cylinder as everything else is farely new.

Any thoughts please?

how old are your brake flexys?if more than 8 years old change em.thier was a dodgy batch a while back that were prone to collapsing internally

Thanks. Would the brakes still bled if the pipes had collapsed though?

Yes, the fluid will get through under pressure but it won't return. I take it the brakes are adjusted correctly and the fluid leak hasn't contaminated the shoes? Are the pistons in the replacement cylinder the same size as the other side? I usually replace them in matched pairs.

If the front right is locking up!. The problem is with the front left hand side not working properly

if the cylinder was leaking has it contaminated the shoes or the left cylinder is part seized and slower to move than the right new one.
have you got a chamfer on the shoe leading edge.
