Hi Guys

Can anyone suggest / recommend a company that can manufacture a soft top for a Buggy, as I am struggling to find anyone that willing to take on the job.

Happy to travel to find the right trimmer?

Any suggestions would be greatfully received.

All the best.

Peter

Hi Peter. The guy who did mine did a fantastic job. I got it done through a third party but I've just messaged him to find out who did it. Hopefully still in existence as it was 12 years ago.

Surprised to hear that trimmers seem unwilling.  I too will travel to someone really capable of a good job.

perhaps the attendees could do a recce of the the stands in the halls to find out if there is anyone out there still doing this type of work ?????

or try these people    http://www.donhoods.com/about.htm

FInally got a reply on this. The people that made my soft top are http://www.jpking.co.uk/

It really was a first class job made to fit my rollcage as the frame for the soft top. It has zip in doors/windows, which I only use when it's really tipping it down. I can post some pics if anyone's interested. I did try and ring him today but no answer??

Difficult to say, as mine was "mates rates"

Give them a ring and ask for a quote on something identical to mine

I really wanted John at CC Trim to do mine but as soon as I came to be at the top of his waiting list, he would go away on holiday or be busy with something else - gave up chasing him in the end. I think he did Jonathan, Allan and that 70's kid's buggy too  ;-)up

After driving to Germany and back without a rough and being caught in various storms over the years though, I'm not sure I still need one.
