Dave I think its the hard ground (northerners perhaps don't realise the Malverns were formed from volcanos and the magma is resistant to plastic pegs).
Mind you with Steve it could be a veiled reference to specific campers snoring and generating strong sound waves !
Camped there a few times and cannot remember having peg trouble but it is a large site so perhaps the Northern team orange we put in a dodgy area.
Either put in a dodgy area or don't have the right equipment.
This time round pitch near someone with a Roy Cropper bag.

Waiting to hear back from them about that - Camping area is quite large though and the site is larger than you think, much like Stoneleigh, so there will certainly be space for anyone that wants to come along
Plenty of room in the camping field there
Just had a natter with the organisers, and the gates will be open on Friday from 12 Noon onwards for those that want to get there early
Not sure if this is to be made public knowledge or not as they usually restrict this to the Clubs for setting up ;)
Camping booked and paid for so two people one buggy and caravan going on Friday
Numbers for a saturday ride out may be useful if we get somewhere for food as a stop, it is a beautiful area with some good roads for a buggy cruise and photos.

We're planning on heading up on the Friday.
We are normally in the area in for the Friday Evening as the Cotswold Olympicks is on https://www.olimpickgames.co.uk (https://www.olimpickgames.co.uk) to watch the Shin Kicking and do the Torchlit Parade back into Chipping Campden, after the event there's live music and dancing in the square.

Dovers hill games is worth a visit for anyone with the traditional games and tournaments. There is a flaming torch lit procession down into Campden after
We've been going for quite a few years Snoopy. I have friends who run the English Country Backswording and normally have a tournament there.
One of my friends won the shin kicking one year. He could barely walk the next day.
Been thinking a friday night cruise around the malvern hills and a stop at http://www.pickersleighs.com/ for a take away then back to the show ground for consumption.
They do online orders but have no timings for thecruise with the stops.
Who would be wanting food as I will prewarn them that a group will be there probably 7pm ish if we set off at 6pm although the cruise route is around 15 miles.
Checking the route directions this friday to get an idea.

Called in at the chippy, diner and takeaway online orders get 15% discount and they will deliver to the show ground if required but there is a one way road around the shops with parking so we can pre order and collect.
Cruise around the hills is 13miles but narrow roads and photo stops it will be an hour

Gordon we will just have to grab an area for camping some of us will be there around 12pm Friday.
I have just booked us a room at premium for the Saturday night 😉
Mandy and I are coming down on Friday and leaving Saturday afternoon. We booked a local Pub / B&B (Swan Inn). Will take a miss on the cruise as I will have been driving for at least 3 hours with a dodgy knee :'( :D

Yes it's conveniently close to you and it's free entry for kit cars. Next year it's hoped to get a really large number of buggys so keep an eye out on the Forum for the 2024 date.

Only free for the driver passengers are £15 a day or camping

Debs we thrive on questions so need new blood to avoid complacency. You'll start to notice that there are sometimes different answers to buggy questions depending upon who you ask !

A great gathering of many of the usual suspects with their varied buggy creations in glorious weather and picturesque setting. Oh and there was a car show going on. I'm not an expert on Kit car shows but the vibe was friendly even if it wasn't jam packed with visitors and a few club stands were thin or empty. Hopefully it will build going forward...
