Despite it being closer to me and a stones throw from Chad I hope those travelling from the north or east will still make the effort. Is there any point in a list to get a base line for how many think they will come and whether they are camping or staying locally ?

Is that because of hard ground or wind, can't be much windier than Stoneleigh

Dave I think its the hard ground (northerners perhaps don't realise the Malverns were formed from volcanos and the magma is resistant to plastic pegs).

Mind you with Steve it could be a veiled reference to specific campers snoring and generating strong sound waves !

Camped there a few times and cannot remember having peg trouble but it is a large site so perhaps the Northern team orange we put in a dodgy area.

Either put in a dodgy area or don't have the right equipment.

This time round pitch near someone with a Roy Cropper bag.
