Hi everyone.

Never actually owned a Beach Buggy yet, but has been on my "to buy" list since I was a kid.

Own a mixed bag at the moment including a Karmann Ghia, Bay camper, Triumph Stag (well I need something topless), Dodge A100 van & currently building a Ford Model A HotRod.

I prefer the early Volksrods, Mk1 GP's, Manx, in a stripped down no frills style.

But then I also have a hankering for a Metal flaked LDV or Vulture.

Really wished I actually bought the ones in the past that I had the chance to.

Oh well...... heres hoping this site will re kindle the urge to do something about it before im too OLD.

Hi Andy - there are a few on here with Hot Rods as well, and a variety of others besides.

I`m sure you will find a Buggy sooner or later, and trust me, the smiles per mile make it well worth it.

Get to meet with some of the guys local to you, and I`m sure they would be only too willing to take you for a blast sometime and show you what its all about.

Are Gas Monkeys on in this country? I was in Dallas last week and saw the show on TV, I'd never seen it before. I Googled where they were which turned out to be 6 miles away so I called by, really nice guys!!!

I love that program, not sure you get away working with that beard in this country with our health and safety laws!
