Got one on my bench at the moment.  If you can wait a few hours till I get home I'll take all the measurements you need...

They were usually 41 3/4 inches across the insides of the bottom. Height was usually 16 inches give or take as GP used quite a few suppliers over the years.

Didn't manage to get into the w'shop last night, sorry, things got a bit frantic!

Should have a bit more time tonight if you still need the measurements...

OK, across the scuttle between the legs is exactly 41in. The legs are 8in long. Screen height from edge of frame to edge of frame is 16in. Glass depth is 14.5in. Narrowest part of screen is approx 39.5in.
Hope this helps.

Easy option........
Just make 2 alli spacers to go between the frame and bonnet.
You wont even notice them and it's KISS.

I was thinking about that but it would be about 1/2 inch either side.will have a look at the weekend and see what it looks like.

Can I just ask why you need this measurement? Can't you just measure your own bonnet to see precisely what width screen frame you need?
