Hi everyone Just been reading the buyers guide for some tips and on the V5 section it mentions if it still says BEETLE this could be a problem. I'm talk to a guy about buying is buggy and before jumping in the car and drive 4hr I want to make sore I've asked all the right questions.
He says the logbook says Volkswagen convertible so check the plates on gov.co.uk and yes on the mot it says make Volkswagen and model is a 4 seat convertible is this fine and  anyone has marked it and questions and that would help me that would be much  appreciated . Thanks

Some buggies are registered as convertibles as were all beetle convertibles on buggies the year of registration is normaly more recent than the original beetle registration.
As long as it does not state beetle it is fine..

Where abouts are you lazyboy? I will be putting a VW convertible chassis up for sale in the next week or so. Might suit you if you're in the south east.

Hi Lazy Boy

If you have an Android or iPhone download the app MyCarCheck put in the VRN and you have the full vehicle description

Definitions -
Understeer  - Hitting the fence with the front of the car
Oversteer    - Hitting the fence with the rear of the car
Horsepower - How fast you hit the fence
Torque        - How far you take the fence with you
