Glad you guys like the exhaust! In the process of sorting out the fuel supply, upgraded the stock outlet using a CSP piece:



Using 8mm line throughout which should be adequate for the engine's needs. This meant I had the tiny fuel line along the tunnel going spare, which ended up being ideal for the boost gauge signal. A new throttle cable is in place now and just needs a bracket on the carb to finish. I found some exhaust rubber mounts in the garage today, so that can be finished off now. The more I look at the buggy on axle stands the more I want to give it as much of a rake as possible, so will be going as large as possible on the rear (probably 35's, which is a shame as I just sold some, Jim still using them?) and a bit smaller upfront which means I should be able to lower the beam again. Have also started thinking about some designs for the audio install, unfortunately I'm due to go away with work again early next week, so that will be another 5 weeks of no progress.

With my daily blowing its engine up (the van just about visible below) and then my second car bought as a winter daily blew its engine (another aircooled..) I've been pretty busy rebuilding engines. I have managed to finally get some buggy time in again though, the exhaust is now mounted:





I hadn't really thought this exhaust system through, the exhaust is less than 1m from the drivers/passengers ears..

Was away for a while with work, here are the latest updates. Finally grew a pair and started the process of changing the wheels over to 10x15's.

Although that's not at the ride height, I'll be raising the rear by quite a bit.

I'm running adaptors at the moment, 1.5 inches at the front and 2 inches on the rear, am looking into getting some blank drums redrilled which should bring the wheels in a bit. May need to look into a narrowed beam too although I quite like the wide stance. Engine still isn't any further, I'm waiting on some bits to arrive from the US. Started looking at reverse rotation transfer cases with a view to fit the V8 directly over the gearbox, but I think I'll leave all that for a while.
