Not quite the same old V5 question (I hope!)

Hi - quick question. Going down the LWB route on my buggy build, so I'm happy with the plan for getting the V5 changed over etc.

BUT - noticed my engine number is different - there was a recon unit put in the beetle at some point...

SO - should I 'update' my engine no. on the V5 now (I could rightly claim I want my new 'car' details correct!) then 'update' to buggy when the build is finished? 'Car' is SORNed at present.

Up date the engine number now it seems that dvla can only do one thing at a time without getting confused. ;-)up
make it if you can.

Have to agree there. Change one thing only at a time. They are easily confused you know.

I really don't care.
