Hi Jae,

Welcome to buggy land.

It would be helpful if you could put a little bit more specific location so that we could help you with your other post regarding a mechanic to help you with your buggy.

And before someone else say's it  "We like pictures".....

Welcome James, glad you made it onto the forum.  ;-)up

As I mentioned on the email - don't panic too much - VW aircooled engines are prone to it. Theres a piece of the original brooklands track that will forever have a mark from my engine on it!  :-[  ;D ;D ;D

Lots of minor causes likely, simply fixed but otherwise yes am sure some folks can suggest mechanics closer to you to help. - Guildford and towards Brighhton.

Hi all thankyou,,,,, for all the replys,,, well my buggy is in guildford, and is driveable with a top up of oil,,,, but will leave a pool of oil every 15 miles i top it up,,,, so anywhere near guildford for a mechanic who knows about this type of engine would be favorable....

pictures ok i will add some to the page when i work out how to add more....

many thanks and yes it would be great to get the chance to go out with other buggys..... looking forward to it and hope to get this work sorted asap.....
