I'm half thinking about this, although I live in Nottingham my brother in law lives in Poxwell (just down the road from Swanage) so the carnival coupled with a visit to relations could be a possibility.
Have fun. Be lucky

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away.

I've received this from the Carnival committee rep:

Hi  Terry,

I hope this finds you fit and well ?

I'm writing to confirm that hopefully your group will be up for coming to Swanage Carnival again this year ? We always appreciate your support and the crowds really enjoy seeing the group , and are always a great visual treat for the many spectators that always turn out to watch you participate in what is a great event for the town

If you can let me know if you want to come that would be great ,

Kind Regards

Darren

I've been a bit cheeky and said yes on your behalf!

So is anyone up for it?
More details to follow on camping details etc but it will be the usual Fri lunch to Mon lunch for anyone that can bunk off work for the extra days but even if you can only make it for a day you are welcome.

For the cruise on Sat I'm thinking of a bit of a change, I'd still like us to do the chain ferry over to Poole but then I'm thinking of a split visit to 2 local attractions which are the Tank Museum and Monkey world.

You would not have time to do both but they are very close to each other so we could drop off those that want to see our simian brethren in Monkey World (don't forget some form of ID to get back out) then round the corner for those into heavy metal at the Tank Museum.

Here's the links:

http://www.monkeyworld.org/

http://www.tankmuseum.org/home

Any comments either pro or con are welcome so I can gauge what you would like to do.

The Theme for this year is Superheroes so what do you think on bringing the Knights out of retirement?
