This is my first post and i may well be shot at dawn when i explain that while i do have a buggy of sorts it has only three wheels..............I call it a trike  ;D and i love it !!
No men with guns so i will go on.

I have a webber carb fitted to my Trike and it spits back like a b*****d, now i had this problem on my Harley Sportster but no this bad. I will add that the timing is set correct.
The problem is the icing effect in the inlet manifold, i don't have a heated manifold, is there a kit for this anywhere. I have looked into making my own but the only straight section of exhaust i have is about an inch from the rocker cover.

Oh, Hunter must be real happy with the colour of his buggy, i had to search the internet to find it lol

There used to be a kit called an imdo that wrapped round the manifold below the carb and had two wires on it. This warmed the manifold to stop icing.
I'm in my buggy,
It's raining,
I really don't care.

I had one of those on my first buggy back in my early 20's, they worked very well. Not seen them for years and years.....!

Thanks for the replies, they still do them @

but they are £37.00, £41.00 with postage. I think i will try some tubing first to see what results i get.
I may well go this route in the end

Well at least i was not shot lol

Using the 50mm corrugated aluminium pipe from near the exhaust to the air cleaner works wonders, i guess some lagging on the vertical manifold section would help as the engine is not enclosed like in a beetle.
