does any other members own a Tramp....i could do with a dash pic to use as reference,the current column has had the collapsible bit removed and rewelded?...wouldn't  be a problem  if i had orangutang arms...

another hatchet job to change the clutch cable that weakens the main strength in a buggy best round the corners off and weld a plate in. The tunnels will crack from corners cut in them. looks like you have plenty of work to do.

long story how the hole on tunnel come about(a helpful!! mate welds pedals to floor instead of bolting,then loses circlip so decides to tack weld accelerator arm on end of shaft,clutch cable decided to unhook)....the end...

welding stuff together can get you out of the sh..e when you are short of bits and want to get stuff going, quick bodges that work tend to remain in place until it fails

Iv'e already got another incomplete pedal assembly to replace the seized ones,going to address the "hatchet job" hole in top of tunnel first then the  tinworm either side where pedal assembly fits and the naps hat...

Ok, I'll do it on hear. What you doing about the paintwork? I'm an 'ex' sprayer & tho I still have a workshop & all the gear, I don't tend to do it anymore. With that said it would be good to repaint your buggy for you if you want? What colour you going for?

I quite like it as it is,patina i think they call it?

My son has completed his 2nd year bodywork and panelwork apprenticeship and im not too bad myself....
Dont know if its going to be painted yet or flow coated.A buddy of mine does commercial fibre glassing(do any members know what are the pro,s and con,s on flowcoating?)
any tips tho buddy would be much appreciated
