Hi

I have a set at home but not sure what they are.

Will dig them out and check at the weekend.

If you can't fix it with a hammer it's not broken!!!

Really? I have a set of 36idfs to go onto the 1641 in our bay, that is otherwise stock save for an 009dizzy and a 4:1 exhaust. Any idea on jetting then as everything I've seen says f11 emulsions are needed.
Thanks

what chokes are fitted 28mm/30mm ??
I think I ran 55idles and 140mains with 30mm chokes
55,s will stop you getting that flat spot under2000rpm.
the best investment you can buy is a colourtune kit from halfords this will let you check mixture very accurately .
timing wants to set running to give max advance at arround 30/32 degrees and dont wory what it reads at idle.

30mm chokes, and I've got 55 idles already.

140 mains sounds horribly rich! I only run 160s in the buggy!

Colour tunes are horrid things IMHO. I've got a co meter, so getting the idle jets right is easy, but the mains are harder as you really only check with the engine under load.

hang on ,you say 140 is rich it depends a lot on the airs and I assume they are F50 tubes !

That's a good point......airs are 190, mains currently 130 and emulsions f50. To be fair it's probably close enough to run....

I wouldn,t waste money changing them ,they should run great.

I think I might have openend the airs to 200.
best bet is get some very tiny drill sets off ebay only a few quid and just keep reaming the jets up slowly.
good luck jon
