Ok All,

Looking at the calender for Sept there doesn't seem to be much happening.

:o  Someone in the weather dept has dared to suggest that it may suffer from a bit of a hot spell  ;D ;D ,

now then who fancies a bit of a jaunt out to the seaside maybe, either Brighton or Southend or somewhere along the Kent coast  :-\ .

C'mon guys how about some suggestions to take advantage of what may be and come up with some options  ::) .

I've started the ball rolling .....now who's gonna join in and play  8) .

Any weekend except the 21st I am up for it.  Southend or anywhere north of the river is my preference

Was going to suggest a goodwood meet then a cruise, like we chatted about at paddle round the pier.
Could be one idea for when something is on there one Sunday morning.

Hi Hazel,

As I put in the post I'm looking for suggestions for date and place, if people respond then we can draw up a plan and sort things out. I would hope suggestions would come in thick and fast and from the con-census of opinion we can work out when and where. I think if we sort things out within 2 weeks then we can have a final idea who wants to do what and when.
This only stems from a comment in another post that we ought to sort a trip out to the coast.
I understand why you said that a date and destination is good (which it is) but I dont want to dictate, I'm asking for input then maybe we can sort something. Its only a run out for the day.
Sorry if this is wordy but I really want those out there to come up with suggestions.

Cheers H

I have work on Saturday 14th and possibly at a small show near Canterbury the rest of the weekend called Farmfest, nice little chilled event for VW's only a fiver per night so if anyone's looking for a base for the weekend if you end up in Kent it could be an option?

http://www.volksfarmers.co.uk/vw-farmfest-2013/

The following weekend I'll be at the paddock Wood hop farm for Grill n Chill, again a good place to pitch up if you end up down this way over the weekend, i went last year after the ace cafe cruise along with Scooby doo (roger) and had a good time. Its only a tenner for the weekend.

I'm free the rest of the month, hope this helps... Could also lead the way to the beach car park at Leysdown that i took a couple of pics and posted up a while ago if you fancy that?

Well personally speaking Leysdown could be a good trip. Its a bit different to the usual destinations, Chance to get a few photos hopefully and looks like it could be a nice little cruise.

Its a bit of a journey for me I have to be honest, but if the weather is OK, then I don't see why not.
