hi everyone well it all started when I went to tatton park show last year and got hooked on the beach buggy so went home had garage extension bought a 1968 beetle from London in boxes, hired van brought back to Manchester and in oct started the build lest it over winter and have started doing couple of hours a day build its getting there. its a from what I gather a mp1 swb I think I have the shell its brand new under wraps so will need painting later. so that's my story so far I am looking forward to bug jam this month.

Welcome mate ....  where in Manchester are you.... Tucker, Deepower and I are East, GP Jools is North, AOrange is West,  Shilly is South (though a bit further out) ....so a few of us around.   Always willing to help out.

Fancy coming to the Childrens Hospital the day before Tatton?  Just pop along and introduce yourself or if not hope you can make Tatton again (and hope its not as expensive for you this year) as we will be there.

Welcome - the garage bit sounds like me. I am in the process of spending a 5 figure sum on a garage to store a couple of thousand pounds worth of old motor, doesn't seem logical but is definately necessary.
