Having just put the tyres on my wheels I have decided that I just have to have banded solids! It's what I wanted ever since Volksworld features Robert Wren's Manx which was when I first got interested in buggys.

They are BBT Sprintstars wheels that have been redetailed by Java. I bought them from slammedsixtyfive on VZi. They were mounted to his beautiful red '65 that was on display at this years VolksWorld show.

They measure 4.5" at the front and 5.5" at the rear. The tyres are Kelly Springfield 165's on the front and L78 Anderson Norsemann's on the rear. For those that may not know, these were the tyres that were used by the Meyers Manx that won the first Baja 1000. They are a real period correct '60's buggy tyre.
