Looking good.  Well it's actually looking a bit rough, but you cannot make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.

I just hope your mate John doesn't pay you back by going rouge when choosing the paint colour!

Cheers mate  ;-)up

Its coming on very nicely, and he has done a stunning job with the shape.

He has just painted a test piece with the Mazda 2 green and it looks awesome

Indeed it is, which is also why I know I am in safe hands.

Every time I have gone down to see how John is getting on, I have seen the Buggy in primer, and then discovered that John has found a few more imperfections to sort out. Half them I cannot even see, but John is somewhat of a perfectionist, and only the best will do.

And finally, the Buggy is ready for paint. John is happy with the shape. If the truth be told, I was happy with the shape over a week ago, and am absolutely stunned by the transformation he has made here.

There are so many subtle changes, that they could easily go un-noticed - but each one has made such a difference.

John has shown me a test piece that he sprayed with Mazda Green, and it looks awesome. He also commented that it was a really nice colour to spray with and covered exceptionally well. I was then unceremoniously told to "Bugger Off" and I was not to come back until the car was painted in green, which would be sometime next week if all went well.

Something tells me that its going to feel like a very, very, very, very long week

Dave are you going to have a colour co-ordinated green fleet of vehicles or is it only the trailer queen that's green ?

A couple of points....

1. John has a look of Robbie Williams.

2. He might want to attach an air-line to that spray gun, otherwise it might take longer than a week  :P

Today, I just happened to be driving past the workshop when I noticed the door was open and I could not help myself from taking a small peek inside. I was amazed to see that John had been very busy decorating, and there was fresh paint everywhere. Just none on the Buggy.

No, John had decided that a job such as this one deserved not only a deep clean of the workshop, some white paint on the walls and a thorough wash down of all the light fittings. I was very impressed to see him taking this so seriously.

The Buggy had been masked up yet again, and was now sitting on axle stands awaiting something to finally happen.

By this time, John really wanted me out of there, and as I could see what was about to happen, I figured that it was probably not a great idea to distract him any more. So reluctantly, I left - but not before spotting this on the side.

Sooooooooo Exited  :D
