I love the Bounty Hunter and they seem to be few and far between, the way you have decided to do away with
the frame that is normally part of its build is very interesting, and I would have thought it would
open up a whole new lease of life for this buggy if ever a mould was taken.

It's a wonderful shape with so much that you can do

I doubt I mould would ever be made unless there was actually a list of people ready to purchase Bounty Hunters (like this)

I am surprised it hasn't already be done like this to be honest. Most people still have a fear of fibreglass...

The next part of the project is to have some stainless steel fabrication done. I will be using a company in Shipley called zorztec. They make custom exhaust systems and the work is very good quality. I have been making mock up parts to show what I am after. There is also going to be a stainless lattice type subframe on the inside of the car which will be styled kind of like a Ducati frame. The interior panels will go behind this. Also having custom canons made which will styled like Lamborghini tail pipes. I have a 1955cc stroker engine with twin webers etc. which needs fitting before it can go for the work.

Seen some Zorstec work on their website a while back.  I think they were based neared the centre of Brsdford then.  Certainly look like they turn out good quaility  work.

Thankyou, I shall, this is so interesting to see being done and I have always wondered...

Hazel is probably right, lists need to be got, but somehow there seem to be moulds out
there and they are not used much, a Bounty Hunter one may break the trend, and people
would come.

I hope we see some more around though as time goes though

Not much to report other than the buggy is at Zorstec having the stainless fabrication work done. The first part is the internal frame which is being styled kind of like a Ducati frame. Andy at Zorstec has been working on the base for the frame which bolts to the chassis independently from the body. It has bolts welded to the underside which go through the chassis and covers up the bottom of the tub and the tub bolts. He has made this part from angle iron and a lot of work.

Wow that is impressive and sure looks like a lot of work has gone into it

thats a neat frame better than the standard bolt heads showing.

Thanks guys, Andy Zorstec is on holiday this week so no progress until next week now. I will post pics as the frame develops. Then it will be side bars front nudge bar, exhausts and modifications to rear bar.

That frame really is nice and its going well.

Andy at Zorstec has done some more work on the subframe. He is a really talented guy and adds his own ideas which has improved the overall design.

Still lots of stainless fabrication to do, hopefully have another update on Friday !
