Hi Everyone, just a couple of things as we're only a week away to Swanage, firstly something I have been getting notifications about is Disposable BBQ's, Dorset has banned them due to the dry conditions, so can you refrain from bringing them. On the point of BBQ's if anyone can bring along a bbq so we can still have a gathering on Sat evening that would be great.
Can you arrive at the campsite from 14:00, apart from Patrick you arrivewhen you can, so I can have time to sort out what can go where, also I have been informed that access to the campsite is best entering Washpond Lane from the High Street ( A351).

Sue and I will be heading down on the 20th stopping at Fordingbridge  till Thursday, hopefully i will still be able to answer any questions whilst we're away, so bare with me.

Another Update

Hunter has kindly been to the campsite and had another look at the field we have, I looks like itsa flat at the top and slopes down, because of this I am going to make the flat area priority for tents, campers and vans to work round the tents, thanks for your understanding

Some of us are local (ish) and won't be camping. Are we OK to meet up at the Herston campsite on both days; the drive on Saturday and procession on Sunday?

What are the times for Sat and Sun please?

Hi, Herston Yards are quite happy for us to have day visitors, looking to start the cruise about 10:30, the carnival starts a 14:45 so we need to be ready from 14:15 in the side road.

Are there any plans for Friday afternoon/evening? There is a great pub in Wareham, Rivo's hub ( vehicle themed)  where the owner is a great aircooled fan.  The food is fantastic too.  If there's enough numbers,  he'll let us have the conservatory for free.

There was a quiz planned for Fri, but this was when we were at the football club, so it maybe flexible, best ask Matt/Sian as they have organised it
