Since deciding to stay with standard beetle steering box my rack and pinion kit is up for.
Kit consists of mounting bracket to hold a polo rack, over length tie rods so cut to fit your buggy complete with polo joints one end and beetle track rod ends the other, polo rack (needs a clean) a double UJ for polo rack to spline you need to fit to your column
The bracket mounts where the box goes and uses the u bracket part off your old box and uses the damper mounting hole on the beam for the other end.
This is the kit Alex in finland sells so search and you will see but no tax or international shipping to pay!
