Totally with you on this - there are basic guides which help get close, but the ultimate set up is very specific to your engine if you want it spot on.   The carbs Brookster is referring too were originally on my buggy.  They were set up on a rolling road and were spot on.  However when Dave put them on his he has a very different set up.  He has protected his filters from heavy rain and this changes the airflow.

Krug it will be Interesting what happens when Dave fits those rain shields , when i tuned it they were not fitted  . If it starts running rich when they are fitted we know why ( reduced air flow )  ;-)up

Weber 34ICT update

Had 3 x 1776 engines for rejetting and tuning recently

with these new fuels E5 ( Also tested with E10) these are the jets required for the 1776 with twin weber 34ICT Carbs and a Cam ( W100 OR W110 )

1776CC Twin Port Type 1 Engine
60 - IDLES
160 MAINS
180 - AIRS
F6 - tubes
50 - pump jets ( but 60 better ) run 60's in my 1641cc with Velocity stacks fitted

we tested the AFR'S on E10 and E5 similar results to my buggy , on E10 you engine will run leaner with now adjustments , also on the carbs when stripped for cleaning alot of rubber particles in the carbs blocking the tubes and idle circuit ( maybe the E10 rotting the rubber fuel lines not good )
