Hi Everyone

The plans are coming along nicely for the weekend, to include thus far: - 8)

FRIDAY

Arrive Friday, set up camping and settle in, ready for a short cruise to Lincoln's Elite Fish and Chip Restaurant. Arriving at 7.00 pm. (pre-arranged and parking for all buggies) I will need an idea of the numbers. Please put your name down on the list below if you wish to come along.
We will then have a short ride back to the Pub marquee for drinks and chat.
Important: Please note that, understandably, only drinks purchased in the pub can be downed, guzzled or sipped in the marquee!  ;D

SATURDAY

Saturday morning, the Pub will offer a cooked breakfast if there are enough people (over 15). Payment for this will be direct to the pub catering. Again, please put your name down below if interested.

Saturday cruise:
We will assemble at 10.30 am and leave at 11.00 am in and around Lincoln, with a couple of places of interest, incorporating coffee and loo stops. The current plan is to cruise through Lincoln, Bomber Command Centre (there may be a small charge) and finish at a small road transport museum (£5 per person). Depart at your leisure and go back to the campsite, which is approximately a ten-minute drive.

Arriving back at base in good time, ready for the evening meal in the marquee. The menus are below. Please choose your meal and add it to the evening meal list. A fabulous 80's band, Scoundrel Dayz, will follow and entertain us for the evening.

Fancy Dress is not optional. It is a MUST!

SUNDAY

Sunday, Stray Cat Stupot oversees the day. Which will include a scenic ride through Newark and villages, an ending at Clumber Park, and a picnic lunch, which is included in the overall cost of the weekend. (This could change if Clumber Park cannot accommodate; will update nearer the time)

To conclude the weekend, Sunday evening features the amazing 11th Hour, a five-piece band playing various rock/soft rock songs; bring your dancing shoes!

The cost for the weekend is as follows:  ;)

Breakfast and evening meals will be paid directly to the pub on the day.

PUB ROOMS and HOTEL are to be paid directly.

CAMPERS Weekend camping pitches £50.00 (including shared electricity. Simon will do what he can). There are shower facilities and toilets.

ENTERTAINMENT: The cost will be £20.00 per person for two nights of entertainment.

ALL PAYMENTS: Please send them to friends and family via PayPal  josi67733@gmail.com    These prices are based on everyone on the list attending and are not profit-making.

Lincolnshire Buggy weekend has booked the campsite rom Friday morning,
Paul and I are going Thursday to layout the pitches, as previously stated we are tight for space, it is a good job we get on as it will be close.
If you intend to come earlier, payment for the pitch will be direct to the pub,
We will need to know of early arrivals, to site you in a convenient position as not to ask you to move Friday morning.
Sorry for this post but i just need to make this clear to all
Thanks Simon

Well as so often there are so many to thank for a tremendous weekend.... But I'll mention the obvious people and hope those I don't feature will accept that I/we did all actually know & humbly appreciated the parts they diversely played.

Jo & Simon displayed a regal command of all matters whilst in Lincolnshire, so get top billing for the level, electrified and grid plan al la Milton Keynes camp site with attached pub and not one but two live bands - an 80s tribute group (Scoundrel Dogz) and a rock band (11th Hour) who also played some 80s music - what's not to like with Bryan Adams 'Summer of 69' ending both evenings. Paul -My Little Pony - Rooke organised and led a Friday evening ride out to Brayford Wharf and then Bomber Command & a Transport Museum on Saturday via the front of Lincoln Cathedral superbly assisted by 2 motor cycle escorts allowing us to cut a swathe through traffic... On Sunday Stuart - No Prizes - Moody took us into Nottinghamshire to a picnic at Thoresby Hall via Newark. The weather Gods shone on us delightfully and every buggyist retained a great sense of humour and camaraderie throughout.

The weekend was akin to a trip to Disneyland with a bonus that I actually entered Disney Land and found the church Walt's ancestors are linked to...
