Popped round to Shaggy's today and he kindly had a warm bath waiting for me.... Ultra Sonic that is.   Picked up some IDFs for my project and they were very dirty.   The amount of crap that came out of them was quite surprising.

I have never had a set with chokes on.  Interesting seeing how they actually work (now much better after being cleaned).   Does anyone run chokes on Buggies with IDFs?  If so how / any advice?

I will probably just block them off if its too difficult.

Its amazing how much fun you can have on a wet Sunday with your mate pulling a couple of these apart and  cleaning / rebuilding.   Carb rebuild kits on order now as there were a few problems like crispy gaskets /knackered diaphragms / shot fibre washers.   Hopefully they will be good when finished. 

Last question, anyone else running dual weber 36 IDFs?   On the usual UK forums they seem to get lots of criticism, but seen the opposite on USA forums (especially on buggies) with many people loving them.
