Hi all, clutch is slipping so once the weather turns completely the engine will be coming out. Will check/replace gearbox mornings as required. Can anyone confirm I can get the front mounting out without removing the entire gearbox.
Any guidance appreciated.

You can remove the gearshift coupling, slacken the clutch cable and remove the 4 bolts into the horn crossmember then you can lever the box back (handbrake off allows easier movement) swap the mount and shove the box back in the having the crossbar means it cannot drop.

Thanks Snoopy. Never done it but hoped this was the case.

Thanks.
