Early days but just checked the ferry from Harwich to hook of Holland is now bookable at £437 for a buggy and 2 people on the cheap rate. With known numbers going we  could try for a block booking discount even though our contact has retired, so who is going these are great weekends with long cruises it is less than 200 miles from H of H to the site.

Getting closer now so things to do.
Meeting point for the groups near Rotterdam as Hook and Europort are opposite sides of the river.
on the motorways daytime maximum is now 100kph 62mph and 80kph 50mph on roads so a steady drive with some towing we are at 55 mph or 90kph.
We need route there and back it has been suggested over the big dam on return and Amsrerdam airport tunnels so the Northern crew may take the small ferry across the river to europort.
A few folks with Netherlands on their sat navs would be good as phones can drop off the network unless maps are down loaded.
Have all campers paid or are we asking for paying on arrival.
No cheap fancy dress yet chosen
You need car documents with you a warning triangle and high viz in the buggy for all occupants.
Luckily with some towing buggies it may give us a recovery option for breakdowns

Is the a "must have with you" list for us IBW virgins ? I know you need a your Log book, but do we need insurance & MOT Document's , Hi-Viz etc ?

I carry all of my documents when going overseas, but worth checking which countries require what when travelling now.

High Viz (for each occupant) warning triangle and bulb kit are usually the bare minimum, I know France went a bit stupid a while back for personal breathalysers too !

Dont forget that the GB badge requirements have also changed since brexit, and the UK/Euro ones some of us displayed are no longer valid

Reflective jacket, red triangle, 1st Aid kit (spare bulbs are a good shout) – all to hand if break down
