Dry fit completed, dog has checked fitting! Just to check my sanity on this!
I intend to use Tiger seal, to seal the VW gasket to the floor pan, do I/ should I use it on both sides to seal the tub shell as well?

Your choice.....   make the use of the sealant easy. Heat the cartridge up in hot water and reheat as you go if needed....... This really does make a difference.... Make a point of starting, then continuing right to the finish in one go. Take good care to make sure you get none on any part you don`t want it on... this includes your hands your clothes and your face.....    (it really can be messy unless you take care). In the current ambient temperature it will start to set within minutes.
