The MBC have been offered an area at Awnells Farm for the cider weekend after we dropped in during a cruise around all the sites and brewers last year and were a big hit. They offered overnight camping but thinking just one day parked up for a few hours and use the tractor and trailer to visit the other places.
Saturday the 8th is favourite but we are flexible.

Last year a few MBC ventured into rural Herefordshire and watched Morris dancing at Westons Cider before sampling apples at Hellen's and being warmly welcomed at various orchard venues where cider making was in progress. Vanessa even won some Christmas slippers at the Village Hall lunch which I belive she treasures.

Anyway it's on again on Saturday and Sunday, 8th & 9th October. The Morris dancing is only on the Saturday and Allan won't want to miss that so I'll be delighted to meet any buggyists at Worcester - J7 of M6 at say 10am so we can cruise down to see the Morris at 11.15am.

10am meet at the lay by just west of J7 of M5 ie Worcester South. Below Whittington Clump WR5 2RW

Cruise over to Westons Cider HR8 2NQ for 11am, watch Morris at 11.15am and then at noon park up on Awnells Farm HR8 2NW and then trust in tractor transport or Shanks's pony.

It is with much regret that I am going to have to pull out of this meeting. After my buggy being fab all this year and clocking up loads of miles, the rear torsion bar now needs fixing, can't tell you how annoyed I am. Hopefully next time. Have a fab time. Deb

A missed opportunity perhaps your buggy is not very sociable  plenty of other times in the future.

I should have had it done when we first noticed it but did a temp job and now a year later it has to be done.  I will not give up I will meet up at some time. Cheers Deb

Fantastic day today, weather was fantastic. Was great to have Keith, another buggy owner join us too 

A nice day out with the crew and also meet another Keith last seen well over  37 years ago as a south west midland buggy club attendee so hopefully some old 70's and 80's photos on the way from him when he is registered here and a new member for the MBC.
Thanks to Hazel at Awnells farm for the display area and thanks to Hugh for the sub as card payments were out and the cash was spent.
