I wouldn't go for a 1302 for offroad use. Definitely balljoint or K&L front end, with IRS rear if possible. A lot more 'useable' for what you want, plus you will be fine for driving on the street as well. And like Dave said, you will probably struggle to find a decent Baja kit for a 1302.

Good luck finding a Baja kit for a Super Bug, not the most common conversion as the McPherson strut from end wasn't the toughest for off road use.

There are lot's of them on autoscout24.com but TBH I think I'll hold out, a LHD baja'd one is bound to turn up at some point

You could put wanted ads on more of the UK forums such as Vzi etc, to expand your search.
