Hi All,

I have a set of T3 gauges that I want to use in my buggy and have read Ben W resto thread http://www.beachbuggy.info/index.php/topic,6760.0.html

I'm a bit unsure about how to fit them. I've seen some photos online where the gauges have big rubber bands behind the clock which I think must help the spring tabs hold against the back of the dash. Is this right? And where could I get some if I needed them?

I glued blocks onto the back of the dash so the spring arms sat on them.

Cheers snoopy. Was thinking of something like that but wondered what others had done. Assume the wavey ring then goes in front of the dash behind the trim ring to make a little pressure and hold it all in place?

Thinking I have no tensioner ring but if the blocks are the correct width the spring fingers hold it all tight under tension.

If they slide in from the front would a large jubilee clip hold them in place? That's how my rear lights are secured

going down the jubilee clip route, a good idea  . How about a cable tie as it will not seize and rust over the years and is easy to fit and remove
