Would love some advice,
Would the forum recommend twin Weber ict34 carbs or twin Kardon 40mm for a standard 1300cc single port motor?
Thanks in advance.

I recon Kadrons would be a little big for a 1300, Webers would work okay with the correct jets. Also single port ICT manifolds are much easier to track down than Kadron ones.

As Dave said, Kadrons would be overkill on a 1300.

You could go for a 1600 top end rebuild kit if funds allow, which both carbs will work on but unless the bottom end is 100% sound you will just end up with a dead 1600.

The problem you may have is getting the single port manifolds for Kadrons this side of the pond and the ICT manifolds normally come in over £100.
