The Retro Rides Gathering returns again to the historic Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb in Worcestershire. As always we will bring together our mix of club stands and RWYB hillclimb action, along with invited guest cars, retro parking, trade stands, prizes and our great laid back atmosphere.

Our club stands always attract a diverse range of clubs in ever increasing numbers, this year we have even more room for them, we'll also be able to host the Retro Parking in the same field. So far we have well over a thousand retro club stand cars booked in across over seventy clubs and we expect this number to continue rising.

Guest cars are one of our favourite parts of the show, giving us the excuse to make cars we really want to see attend the show. In the past we have been the first event in the UK to bring a competing Berg Cup car to the UK from Europe and run it up the hillclimb. We've bought over mind blowing 1000bhp monsters and had rare race cars take to the hill at our events. This year we're planning even more special cars for our guest slots, so keep an eye on our facebook page for updates.

As we always say Hot Hatch to Hot Rod, Racer to Road Car, Drifter to Daily the Retro Rides Gathering blends it all together into a delicious day of car action. Sunday 19th August, don't miss it!

CLUBS
Clubs stands are integral to our diverse show, stand booking is now open. It is pretty simple fill out this for this form.

We'll send you the passes before the event, you distribute them to your members, they arrive with the passes and their tickets (or buy on the gate, but it would make things easier if they bought up front), we guide them to the right place and they have a good time.

Please note that we desire club stands to be predominantly pre-95, there are plenty of shows on the events calendar for more modern cars, we love retro cars at The Gathering. This year we'll be putting stock moderns in the normal car park even with a club pass, show field for show cars please

Note: Car passes are not tickets, they are simply there to make sure the club area is run efficiently. Your members will still need to buy entry tickets.

RETRO PARKING
If you aren't part of a club but you turn up in a pre-92* car you'll be directed to our Retro Parking area that is part of the show field.

* or classic shaped Mini, or last edition Beetle, and we even let some stuff post 92 in depending on how full the field is, so bring your car, and enjoy the day.

TRACK
Through out the day the hill at Shelsley Walsh will be alive with the sound of engines, from the small to the large we'll see all sorts attempting to get to the top of the hill as quickly or smoothly as possible.

Track time booking will open towards the end of June/start of July this year, keep your eyes peeled on the forum, facebook and instagram.

TRADE
As a trade stand exhibitor you will play an invaluable part in the Gathering and form a part of the visitors' enjoyment.

So in advance its £10 and we mostly qualify as pre 1992.

Shelsey Walsh is in a beautiful location and this event is sure to be rammed - mixed blessing as the actual hill climb is only a 1000 yards and climbing 100 yards and you only get limited views of the climbing cars - none from the Start line / paddock. But it's the oldest etc.

not been on retro rides since the pc died a couple of years ago.

This sounds a great day out.

Is the ticket price per car or per person.

sorry of you hav esaid thsi but just being too lazy to read back.

I'm afraid Chad the pass is simply to get the buggy into the display area and they want £10 per person for the advanced tickets.

I've seen you with a dog ('four legged' - I know how some on this site 'read' things !) so note that they say no dogs.
