We now have the stand confirmed for the show 23rd - 25th March 2018 at the NEC Birmingham.
Set up is thursday the 22nd so you need to bring the buggy then, attendance every day is not compulsory although you will need to be there sunday to collect the buggy.
We are now in hall 5 stand 260.

Guessing cost will be around £15 per buggy for which you get 1 car park pass and 2 entry tickets per day.

I intend to put the kango on so another 5 places should be available but I am awaiting a final floor plan with the post position so I can do a layout.

Lets start a list of interested buggers.

Rich we can use unfinished buggies, this year we had a trailered down and pushed in can am that was loosly  assembled on the stand. It is a restoration show so barn finds and in need of repairs are common.

The only thing for folk it if you are booked in we need you, we have had snow on the journey there before now but the show goes on and it is a good place to display 5 or 6 different buggies to the crowds every year so we do not want to jeapordise our acceptance every year.

Hi Snoop. I'd be up for it this year......only 2 miles away. Put me on the list  ;-)up
I'm old enough to know better, but young enough to do it anyway.

Allan and I are still interested with the 2 buggies  ;-)up

Obviously I've expressed dedicated interest for it this time. But i think I'll have to back down if Van and Allan are in. To many sidewinders otherwise  :-\

Keith,

If Vicky is making some Rocky Road, then I will come up and play Taxi for you whilst the Kango is on site.

Things to remember . . .

- Anything displayed does not have to be shiney and covered in bling . . . Its a restoration show and ANYTHING GOES !!!

- Its would be nice to have a variety of cars there, but don`t fret if we do have 3 sidewinders, because they look completely different anyway !!

- Although on the doorstep of the MBC, this is open to anyone that could get a car there and would be nice to see some from further afield too

Dave, why should you back down and not put your car forward? At the end of the day it's only the buggy community that know what sidewinders are, not the general public. Anybody can put their name down for the show but Snoopy picks the line up  ;-)up

3 metallic Sidewinders. Dave your bright green would pop out next to Allan's red and Vanessa's purple. (Yes I know some will miss interpret this sentence)

'...don`t fret if we do have 3 sidewinders, because they look completely different anyway.'

It would be a brilliant demonstration of how crafted, customised and creative the look of just one buggy model can be.

Visitors to the stand could be invited to match a photo of the owner with each buggy - prize of having some buggys turn up at their home and offer them a spin.

People like stroking and touching the flake buggies I guess they think it will be a rough finish so have to test it.

Well if they stroke Allan's metal flake too overtly they certainly risk finding it 'rough' !
